miguel.farano Posted January 30, 2015 Author Report Posted January 30, 2015 Hi AaronJB, Thx for welcome message!! =) 5th june 2015 until 10th june 2015! I can use HOTWIRE but i didnt found something good up to now there too... regards!!!
AaronJB Posted January 30, 2015 Report Posted January 30, 2015 For a 4* in the core areas of San Fran for these dates, you're likely looking at $170-180. Unfortunately, I'm not seeing a lot of difference in rates at the 3.5* level and I'm guessing what is required at the 3.5* level will probably be fairly similar. Please use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases... or thru our sister site MAPS and HOTELS.com for your regular rate purchases.
miguel.farano Posted February 2, 2015 Author Report Posted February 2, 2015 hi Aaron, let me know if i get closer to the dates i will arrive it will be cheaper or it can increase? I really want to a good place for a maximum price of $150 and I am already with $145 regards
AaronJB Posted February 2, 2015 Report Posted February 2, 2015 There is no way to know for sure, but there is definitely the possibility that rates can move higher closer to your dates. In 2008/2009, you saw more in the way of last minute deals. With demand having ramped up, there's been more and more instances of pricing moving higher last minute. San Francisco, in particular, has seen demand ramp up considerably in the last few years and rates do look on the high side for these dates. miguel.farano Posted February 6, 2015 Author Report Posted February 6, 2015 Aaron with your information in mind and a lot of trys up to 160 without sucess bidding i finish for now my search with something that i think was a good deal for now. i take serrano 3,5* for $160 dolar night in UE. with some great options: i can cancel anytime without taxes i still have time to bid for less now... although this forum is about priceline and hotwire i wanted to share my decision. thanks for your help up to now. regards Miguel
AaronJB Posted February 6, 2015 Report Posted February 6, 2015 Thank you for the reply and letting us know what you decided. $160 for the Serrano is certainly a very good option for a back-up. Still, you have a lot of time and I'll suggest using our sister site, RateDrop.com, to get alerts if Hot.wire and PRICELINE EXPRESS rates decline. Thanks for keeping us updated and please let us know in this thread if you have any additional questions closer to your stay.
