Citag80 Posted January 29, 2015 Report Posted January 29, 2015 Hi Guys I am looking at a hotel on Hotwire for a 3 night stay 23 June in Los Angeles. This is the description of the hotel in Hotwire: 4.5* Hotel Hollywood Area (90% recommended by Hotwire customer reviews) Free InternetPet FriendlySmoke Free RoomsFitness CenterPool(s)Restaurant(s)Business CenterAccessible for visually impaired ANY IDEA WHICH HOTEL THIS WOULD BE BUT MORE IMPORTANTLY I WANT TO KNOW IF THE FINAL PRICE QUOTED WILL INCLUDE ALL TAXES ETC ... ?!It's quoting £424 for 3 nights
AaronJB Posted January 29, 2015 Report Posted January 29, 2015 Welcome to Betterbidding. :) I believe there are more amenities then what you have posted above as HOT.WIRE has a new interface that does not show the complete set of amenities unless you click thru a few extra links. If you repeat your search using our Bidding.Helper.com tool... use the HOTWIRE EASY VIEW tab and then click the GREEN BUTTON next to this listing, do you see more amenities then what you have listed above? If you see: Restaurant, Pool, Fitness, Smoke Free, Free Internet, Hi-Speed Internet, Business, Blind Accessible, Deaf Accessible, Travel Accessible, Room Accessible, Bathroom Accessible, Handicapped Parking, Roll-in Shower, Pet Friendly I'd guess the Loews Hollywood would be a possible match in this case. You will be shown the total with taxes/fees during check-out. Resort fees and optional fees (internet, etc) are charged at the hotel, but there are no hotels I'm aware of in this area w/resort fees so that's not an issue. Please keep us updated with what you decide and let us know if you have additional questions. Thank you for using the board's HOTWIRE or PRICELINE links to start your purchases and searches.
thereuare Posted January 29, 2015 Report Posted January 29, 2015 It's quoting £424 for 3 nights Please change the drop down menu on the top right of HOTWIRE's page to United States and the currency dropdown to US Dollars. Then continue to search HOTWIRE and post to the board in US Dollars so that rates are consistent and not subject to interpretation due to future currency fluctuation, as well as the room rate being shown on a per nite basis and before fees/taxes. Once you're ready to purchase stay on the US version of their site and simply change the drop down menu to whatever currency you'd like to use and complete your purchase. (while staying on the US version of their site) Please use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases... or thru our sister site MAPS and HOTELS.com for your regular rate purchases. Let us know what you decide and how it goes or how we can be of further help. Please use this HOTWIRE and these PRICELINE LINKS: HOTELS, CAR RENTALS, and AIRFARE to begin your travel purchases
