I see a 4.5* las vegas strip north hotel as an option in the NYOP but not sure what the options for the 4.5* north strip are? Your hotel list only has the 4.5* south strip hotels listed and cant find anyone who won a 4.5* for the north strip. Any ideas? Has pool, restaurant, business center, fitness center listed and an 8+.
thereuare Posted January 16, 2015 Report Posted January 16, 2015 It's been thought that this may be a 'dummy' zone where there are no 4.5* hotels available and any bid won at the 4.5* level would be upgraded to a 5* hotel. A few things to note: 1) the speculation above could be wrong, so don't bid 4.5* and expect an upgrade to a 5* hotel. Only bid 4.5* if you are willing to accept the chance of receiving a 4.5* hotel 2) this zone now includes the Trump, if you're not willing to accept the Trump then use PRICELINE EXPRESS and choose a hotel that lists CASINO as an amenity 3) on the bidding side of PRICELINE the guaranteed amenities next to each star rating are amenities that are present at every hotel in the zone at this star rating (or higher)... NOT amenities for a specific hotel that you would be bidding on. Therefore, it's not possible to use the amenities on the 'Name Your Own Price' side of PRICELINE to guess which hotel it is that you may receive. What are the actual dates of your stay? What is your budget per nite for this trip? milady22 Posted January 16, 2015 Author Report Posted January 16, 2015 I am going to pass this time. Had a great deal on a flight out to vegas but the hotel prices are way too high. Tried bidding but the prices got pretty close to the express deals (which were pretty high) and they were still rejected. I guess finding a hotel deal last minute isn't going to happen this time. Thanks for your help and for explaining about the 4.5* vegas strip north.
