ihqazi
Please add this hotel to the list for Long Beach(torrance-carson_Check-In Date: Saturday, December 17, 2005 Check-Out Date: Sunday, December 18, 2005 Hotel Name: Marriott Torrance Redondo Beach3635 Fashion Way Torrance, California 90503-4897-4897 310-316-3636 Your Offer Price: $55.00 Number of Rooms: 2 Number of Nights: 1 Subtotal: $110.00 Taxes and Service Fees: $23.84 Total Charges: $133.84 After spending a horrible night over at the homestead suites(uncle's booking), I booked this marriott. I bid first for torrance-carson 3* at 45then 3* $50 added long beach airport(no 3* there)then 3* $55 and added San Pedro and this was acceptedHowever, supposedly $5 dollars was added by a Priceline coupon.Anyways, it was a beautiful Marriot loved it and the pool and excercise room were nice. Nice view from 14th floor and great service. Parking was free in their garage and nice shopping around and not far at all from Redondo/manhattan beaches. In the process of doing it made two new converts to Betterbidding in the process, my uncle and cousin who were litterly floored to see the price I got this marriot for. They used the homestead suites before and my uncle paid for it at 89/night. He was poleaxed to see someone on betterbidding get it for 36 dollars night and then see me get this marriott across the street for 55. Link to comment

mbstone
So, as far as this BB is concerned, will posts regarding properties in the Torrance-Carson subzone of the Long Beach zone be found here (as I would submit they should be), or in California - All Other Cities (where some of them are)? How about the Redondo-Manhattan Beach zone? Link to comment
thereuare
This thread belongs (and will now be moved) to the "Other Cities".On the otherhand, Redondo-Manhattan Beaches would be in the Los Angeles forum. This is the distiction (bold added by me):If you go to Priceline and look at the paragragh above where you select the zones, the Torrance/Carson selections begins:Torrance, California is located within the Long Beach, CA....While the Redondo/Manhattan zone begins as follows:Redondo Beach, California is located within the Los Angeles - Central L.A. areaHope this explains the rationale for classifying each (and sets precedence for other cities too).
