Hotwire Hotel: Help to identify - 4.5* Ft Lauderdale Beach

Hi,

 

I used the Bidding Helper to look for a room in Ft. Lauderdale from 4/24 to 4/27.  Hotwire had a 4.5* room for $181 with the following amenities:

 

FULL AMENITIES: Free parking, Free Internet, Pool(s), Restaurant(s), Internet access, Accessible for visually impaired, Accessible for hearing impaired, Accessible path of travel, In-room accessibility, Wheelchair accessible, Accessible bathroom, Accessible parking, Roll-in shower

 

There is no 4.5* listed on the Hotwire list.  Does anyone know what this might be?

Thanks for the quick reply!  There are couple of others that have me stumped also.  One is a 4* Ft Lauderdale Beach hotel for $150 (75% recommended)  Here are the amenities:  FULL AMENITIES: Free Internet, Resort, Pet friendly, Fitness center, Pool(s), Restaurant(s), Business center, Internet access, Golf nearby, Tennis nearby, Spa services, Wheelchair accessible, Accessible bathroom, Accessible parking, Roll-in shower.

 

The other is a 5* for $218.  Amenities:  FULL AMENITIES: Free Internet, Resort, Near beach, Fitness center, Pool(s), Restaurant(s), Business center, Internet access, Tennis nearby, Spa services, Accessible for visually impaired, Accessible for hearing impaired, Accessible path of travel, In-room accessibility, Accessible bathroom, Accessible parking, Roll-in shower.  I am thinking this may be the Atlantic.

 

And last is one in Hollywood Beach 4* for $178.  I could not get this one to come up in the Easy View.  The amenities are:  Free Internet, Resort, Near Beach, Smoke Free, Fitness Center, Pool, Restaurant, Business Center, 80% recommended.  Crowne Plaza possibly?

Best guess/comments for each:

 

4* Ft Lauderdale Beach hotel for $150 (75% recommended)

5* for $218.

--> Atlantic Resort and Spa

 

Hollywood Beach 4* for $178

--> if you can't get a hotel to appear in the EASY VIEW tab you need to do the following in order to view the complete set of amenities:

search HOTWIRE (or use the HOTWIRE tab at BiddingHelper.com) and...

• click the offer
• on the next page click the BOOK NOW link
• in the TRIP SUMMARY box click the 'See more' link at the end of the amenities

Using this method below is the full amenity set i'm seeing for the 4* hotel offered on my search for your dates:

Free Internet

Resort

Near Beach

Smoke Free

Fitness

Pool

Restaurant

Business

Hi-Speed Internet

Golf

... if this is what you're seeing, the Crowne Plaza Hollywood Beach Resort Hotel would be my best guess for this one.

If your new search is for the same set of dates (or within the same date range) please continue this thread.

However, please first try to decide upon your destination and needs for this trip, as researching/identifying hotels can be a time consuming process. If your plans are still 'in the making' any hotels that are currently available may not be the ones that are offered once you're ready to commit to a purchase (or the price may be very different that they are no longer a realistic option)

The dates are set, plane tickets are purchased.  I am flying into Miami and looking to stay in South Florida in general.  I'm not tied down to a specific location.  Maimi and Ft Lauderdale are very close, I am just looking for the best deal.
