DYL24
Looking for a hotel room for the following dates - 4/7 through 4/10 - and found a quote of $108 for a four star hotel in the French Quarter/Bourbon street area of New Orleans. Hot.wire Amenities are listed: Smoke-free rooms Fitness center Pool(s) Restaurant(s)Business center Internet accessAccessibilityAccessible for visually impairedAccessible for hearing impairedAccessible path of travel 80% recommended Any idea which hotel this is? AaronJB
For the Hot.wire listing: I believe there are more amenities then what you have posted above as HOT.WIRE has a new interface that does not show the complete set of amenities unless you click thru a few extra links. If you repeat your search using our Bidding.Helper.com tool... use the HOTWIRE EASY VIEW tab and then click the GREEN BUTTON next to this listing, do you see more amenities then what you have listed above? If you see: Restaurant, Pool, Fitness, Smoke Free, Hi-Speed Internet, Business, Blind Accessible, Deaf Accessible, Travel Accessible, Room Accessible, Bathroom Accessible, Handicapped Parking, Roll-in Shower This would be a possible match for the Hyatt FQ. The PRICELINE EXPRESS listing has not yet been ID'd/reported to the board and the amenities are common. It may be something else, but I'd lean towards the Crowne Plaza as being a more likely possibility. Thank you for using the board's HOT.WIRE or PRICE.LINE links to start your purchases and searches. DYL24
I thought the Hyatt FQ was a 4.5 star hotel. My quote on Hot.wire was for a 4 star hotel. Hyatt would be a good choice for me but just want to make sure i'm not misreading something before I purchase. Thanks. Link to comment
thereuare
I believe the Hyatt French Quarter is still 4.5* rated by HOTWIRE and not likely the hotel being offered... the Crowne Plaza French Quarter would be my guess for this one. I don't have any insight into the PRICELINE EXPRESS property as those amenities are offered at almost all 4* hotels in this zone. What is your maximum budget for this trip?
