mdushore Posted December 21, 2005 Report Posted December 21, 2005 I'm looking for the night of 3/11/2006 at the Hyatt Regency MCO. Based on info gathered I learned of a successful $63 bid for a Jan. date. When I bid the same, Priceline came back to suggest another $17 would do it. I'd pay $80 for this hotel but I'd like to be assured this is the Hyatt at MCO. Any recent experience with other hotels in this zone accepting PL bids? If only the Hyatt has been using PL I'll wait 3 days and re-bid.Thanks,Bill

thereuare Posted December 21, 2005 Report Posted December 21, 2005 When bidding on priceline there is no way to determine the actual hotel you will receive, you must be able to accept any hotel in the zone that is at least rated the minimum star level that you have bid for.Given that there is more than one 3* rated hotel in this zone reported, i would not use priceline in this instance unless you are willing to accept the other properties in the area.If you do need the Hyatt and need to book direct, please use our Hyatt.com link to do so.Let us know if we can be of further help.... maybe Hotwire is a better option since you can take a reasonable guess at the hotel you will receive?
