al-canada Posted January 2, 2015 Report Posted January 2, 2015 I had been trying the past week to get a room in Key West (Old or New Town) for this weekend without success, from CAD180-260, 2.5* and up. Today had success at CAD260 with the Sheraton Suites Key West. Pretty happy because it looks like a decent property, the rack rate is USD409 before tax, and I ideally wanted a room on the Friday night rather than Saturday. Not as pleased with the relatively unadvertised USD25 resort fee, but that's life (and I go to Vegas a lot, I'm used to it). I'm only there for one night so not a big deal for me, but something to be aware of. Total with taxes is CAD338.17 (in addition to the resort fee paid on site). Was hoping for something much cheaper but it appears to be a very in demand weekend.
