Hotwire Hotel: 4* DC (Arlington) Hyatt Arlington

Sometimes things just go your way, you know?

 

Last week I booked the Hyatt Arlington at a rate of $89/night using one of the billion online booking services. The 3-night stay for the two rooms would be about $603.

 

Then I started perusing Hotwire and Priceline. Having learned through the hotel lists here on BetterBidding that the 4-star Arlington hotel Hot.wire was offering for $60/night would likely be one of three hotels—one of which was the Hyatt Arlington—I decided to roll the dice. I clicked through from BetterBidding to Hot.wire, and wouldn't you know it? We got the Hyatt Arlington! The 3-night stay for the two rooms is $431.56 with taxes and fees... about $170 less than the booking I made last week!
