Got 2 rooms at the $44 rate. The rates average $140+ per night for my dates at the hotel website.

There are a couple of Homewood Suites that refer themselves as "near Universal" or "nearest Universal". This is the "near Universal" Homewood Suites at 8745 International Dr. The other (the "nearest) is at 5893 American Way.
