Each set of dates (where you will be staying at a different hotel) is a 'stay'... so this request for 1/8-1/9 is a new 'stay' and would go in its own thread, even though it's part of the same trip. Think of it this way... each topic title reflects the hotel ultimately won, and there can only be one hotel in each topic title; so each set of date(s) has its own thread, but multiple requests for the same dates go in the same thread. Hope that makes sense and clarifies the issue.
