melrew Posted December 17, 2014 Report Posted December 17, 2014 Hi, we will be in London with 2 adults 1 child (under 17) on 3-24-15 staying 3 nights. I found a Hotwire deal for Mayfair - Piccadilly Circus - Soho area for $206 per night. The amenities listed are restaurant, hi speed internet, and business. I thought it might be Lincolns Inn Fields, but Hotwire shows a tripadvisor rating of 4.0 and on the tripadvisor website it gives It a 4.5. Any idea what hotel this could be? Thanks for your help!
AaronJB Posted December 17, 2014 Report Posted December 17, 2014 Please provide a follow-up for your prior Murfreesboro Hotwire thread (post what you decided for that stay within that thread, then reply to this thread and we would be happy to take a look and try to ID the above listing.) Also, please provide the star rating for the above listing. Thank you for using the board's HOTWIRE or PRICELINE links to start your purchases and searches.
thereuare Posted December 17, 2014 Report Posted December 17, 2014 ... and your Hotwire Hoover thread too. Thanks. Please use this HOTWIRE and these PRICELINE LINKS: HOTELS, CAR RENTALS, and AIRFARE to begin your travel purchases
melrew Posted December 18, 2014 Author Report Posted December 18, 2014 Ok, done! I should have mentioned in the original question that the London hotel is listed as a 4.5 star on Hotwire.
thereuare Posted December 18, 2014 Report Posted December 18, 2014 We have not yet seen a 4.5* property with this amenity set reported to the board and these amenities are common at most 4.5* hotels in this area so it's difficult to say with any degree of certainty... the Waldorf Hilton and the Westbury Room would each be among the possibilities, as would the Holiday Inn Mayfair if it were upgraded to the 4.5* level since last being reported to the board, but as per the above, it's difficult to have a high degree of confidence in any guess given the limited (and common) number of amenities showing. Please use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases... or thru our sister site MAPS and HOTELS.com for your regular rate purchases. Let us know whatever you decide to do for this stay and how it goes or how we can be of further help. melrew Posted January 29, 2015 Author Report Posted January 29, 2015 Since we will be travelling with our son, we decided to book through a hotel directly. We wanted to close to the tube and certain of the area we'd be staying in. Thanks for your help as always!
thereuare Posted January 29, 2015 Report Posted January 29, 2015 Than you for closing this thread with your decision. In the future when PRICELINE / HOTWIRE don't work for a particular trip, please book thru our sister site MAPS and HOTELS.com which shows hotels near almost any location in the world and makes it easy to determine how much more/less it would cost to go up/down in star rating OR to stay closer/further from your ideal location. Have a great family trip. Please use this HOTWIRE and these PRICELINE LINKS: HOTELS, CAR RENTALS, and AIRFARE to begin your travel purchases
