Still, it's a good idea to start researching, as October is traditionally a busy time of year in NYC. You can also use our Rate.Drop.com service in order to get alerts when prices for HOTWIRE listings, PRICELINE EXPRESS listings and regular rate listings decline. What are your exact date/s of travel and desired budget per night/star rating? Which zones in NYC would be acceptable? I'm going to stay from day 1st to day 6th...from $75 to $150/day in a 3* or 3 1/2* would be very nice! I actually don't know if that is possible!!!

AaronJB Posted December 10, 2014 Report Posted December 10, 2014 The cheapest 3* or above in Midtown on Hot.wire is a 4* in MTE for $197 w/Restaurant, Pool, Indoor Pool, Fitness, Hi-Speed Internet, Business, Laundry, Tennis. You may see a slightly different price.I don't think $150 is going to be possible at this point, but if MTE is acceptable, you could maybe get something for $165-185.
