Well fudge. Allure has moved from 3.5 stars to 3 stars on Name Your Own Price it appears. And I think Express, too, since there was a similarly priced listing. Been watching for a trip. Was expecting one of the suite hotels from one of the chains that typically are 3* in this zone. 

 

Price wasn't really that much lower than other listed prices, but I didn't expect it due to prior wins for this being at 3.5*. Just need a place to sleep mainly, going to convention center, so should be ok. Used PRICELINE link

Sorry to see you received a hotel that you weren't expecting, but hopefully you'll find this to be a good value for the price paid and it will be convenient for your needs.

For the future also note that the star rating that you select is the minimum that you are willing to accept, so even if this property had not been downgraded to the 3* level (and was still rated 3.5*), it would still be a possible outcome for your 3* bidding since PRICELINE will always attempt to upgrade your bid to a higher rated hotel if one is available at the price you name.
