Looking for 3 rooms for 3/12-17 in the Tampa Airport Westshore area.

A 3* came up at $92/day withe folllowing:

■Free parking
■Airport shuttle
■Fitness center
■Pool(s)
■Restaurant(s)
■Business center
■Self-service laundry
■Internet access

 

Any idea? Doesn't look like the Hyatt Place.

This listing has not yet been ID'd/reported to the board. A guess would be that the Ramada has been upgraded to 3* since last reported to the board and may not be offering breakfast anymore as it looks like it has a new restaurant. I'm seeing what may be the Sheraton Suites or Doubletree for about $7 more (the price you see may vary) - would either of those be of interest? Let us know and we would be happy to point out the listing on Hot.wire.

Thanks very much. I did see the other(s) and was wondering about

them. I know it is very early yet. This is an annual trip and last year

I had success on priceline for about $62/nite at the Doubletree. Would

probably jump on the 3* if it was the Hyatt Place though.

I use the links all the time and will follow up on this trip as I go.

You could sign up for an alert with our sister site RateDrop for the Hyatt Place... maybe that hotel drops into your buy range thru a 'regular rate' purchase, OR if you see a drop in price there it may be a good time to have another look at HOTWIRE.

Sorry about not ending the thread. We ended up getting the Sheraton Suites

for $95/nite. Did this by bidding. Started at $60. It was higher than we have paid

in the past.

Very good hotel but I was hoping for cheaper.
