ThiagoBr Posted December 3, 2014 Report Posted December 3, 2014 Good evening, my name is Thiago, and I'm going to New York for the period from 14/04 to 23/04. Can you help me find a 4 star hotel or above the amount of $ 200 daily? It would be a room for 3 adults. Preferably from areas already ordered: - Times Square - Theatre District - Midtown West - Central Park South Pode me ajudar a descobrir qual seria esse hotel??? <link removed> Thanks, and sorry if I asked the question improperly
thereuare Posted December 3, 2014 Report Posted December 3, 2014 Welcome to BetterBidding! If you haven't yet, please start by reading your messages. Note that PRICELINE only guarantees double occupancy, after that it's at the discretion of the hotel, and you could receive a room with only one bed. While you can call the hotel you win and request a room with two beds, the hotel may not be able, or willing, to honor your request (this is especially true in NYC where hotels have a high percentage of rooms with only one bed and rooms with two beds often considered to be an upgrade and/or cost extra). If this is not a risk you're willing to accept, HOTWIRE would still be an option as they allow you to search for up to quad occupancy and ensure sleeping accommodations for everyone you include in your search (although this usually means two beds, the second 'bed' could be a sofabed, rollaway, etc)... or choosing a PRICELINE EXPRESS offer that shows a 'Bed Choice' and one of the choices is a room configuration that will work for your group. You can't link to search results as you have attempted to do above, for help with the PRICELINE EXPRESS offer please provide the details of the hotel (star rating, zone, room rate per nite, and amenities associated with the hotel) Based upon the additional information above let us know how you'd like to proceed and we will try to assist further. Please use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases. thereuare Posted December 3, 2014 Report Posted December 3, 2014 Please also include the room rate per nite in your future posts as it makes it easier for us to find the same hotel among the offers when replicating your search. If you're not currently on the US version of the HOTWIRE site and seeing prices in US Dollars, please change the drop down menu on the top right of HOTWIRE's page to United States and the currency dropdown to US Dollars. Then continue to search HOTWIRE and post to the board in US Dollars so that rates are consistent and not subject to interpretation due to future currency fluctuation. Once you're ready to purchase stay on the US version of their site and simply change the drop down menu to whatever currency you'd like to use and complete your purchase. 4*, mid town central --> The Iroquois 3.5* Times Square --> i'm not seeing this property on a current search for your dates, are you still seeing this on your own search, and if yes, are you including 3adults in your search? *** actually is this property 3 star and in the Midtown Central zone? If so, my guess here would be the Salisbury Hotel 3*, mid town central --> is this property 3.5* and in the Times Square zone? If so, my guess for this one would be the Belvedere Hotel. Please use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases. (and be sure you're on the US version of the site, any questions please ask) Let us know what you decide and how it goes or if we can be of further help. thereuare Posted December 9, 2014 Report Posted December 9, 2014 Best guess for the 4* Times Square property would be the Millenium Broadway... for the 3* Midtown Central, i believe it's the same hotel you asked about above and my guess for this one would still be the Salisbury Hotel. I'm very familiar with NYC and PRICELINE / HOTWIRE, if you let us know your maximum budget (per nite before fees/taxes) and what you're looking for from this stay we will try to help you find the best deal for these dates.
