Priceline Hotel: 3.5/4* Times Square or South Central Park

Hi,

 

I'm trying to book somewhere around Times Square or South Central Park areas for below 200/night. Don't want to end up in an extremely small room (ie Hudson). I've been reluctant to bid on the south central hotels due to that.

What if you could get an upgraded room at the Hudson for $160/nite... would this work for your needs OR would you prefer to bid higher for only the Times Square zone?

There is also what i believe to be the Empire Hotel for $140/nite or the Wyndham New Yorker (MSG zone) for $188/nite.

Didn't think about an upgraded Hudson, is it much better? I was hoping to get into Times Square but I dont see that happening at the 4* level.

AFAIK, the upgraded rooms are the Hudson are more 'normal NYC' sized.

There is also this 3.5* Times Square hotel (Indoor or Outdoor Pool, Free Internet) which i think might the the Room Mate Grace.

I'd say an upgraded Hudson sounds reasonable. Is that on the Priceline Express Deals?

You can try this 4 star Central Park South link (confirm your dates on the landing page) and this should appear as a Pet Friendly property with a Superior Room going for $159/nite (FYI, i checked and the standard rooms at the Hudson are 150 sq. ft... the Super Rooms are 170 sq. ft.)

I'm also seeing a 4* in MTC on Hot.wire for $156 (the price you see may vary slightly) w/Restaurant, Fitness, Hi-Speed Internet, Business, Laundry, Blind Accessible, Deaf Accessible, Travel Accessible, Room Accessible, Bathroom Accessible, Handicapped Parking, Roll-in Shower. This would be a possible match for the Warwick.
