I need help IDing a 3* Hotel on hotwire. The details are as follows:

Search Info:

Dates: Dec 28-29, 2005

Place: Galveston, TX

Rooms: 2

People: 4

Results:

3-star hotel in Galveston $69/night

Amenities: Beachfront, Pool, High-speed internet access, business center, restuarnts, fitness center, tennis nearby, laundry facilities.

This hotel has not yet been identified; the Hotel Galvez and the San Luis Resort are the quickest assumptions, but these have both been reported at the 3.5* level and with different amenties than what is shown above (alhtough one or both could have been upgraded and/or have changed amenities since previously reported)

It seems as if the Holiday Inn and the Holiday Inn Sunspree Resort also fit, but i would think the former would be less than 4*.

Well, I booked it and it was the Holiday Inn (not the sunspree one). If we get standard rooms thats not really a good deal, since its only a $7 savings off the normal price. I guess I'll withhold judgement till I actually stay there and see what we get.

Not sure why i thought the above description was for a 4*, but i guess i wasn't too far off given that it turned out to be one of my two guesses.

Oh, and just to clarify it was $69 per room per night.

Actually the price today was $68, with all the fees it was a total of $161.09
