I am looking for a Hotwire 4* in the French Quarter/mississippi river area for December 10-13. The price they are offering is $91./ night and they say the regular price is $162. The amenities described are:

 

Fitness center, self laundry, business center, spa, pool, restaurant(s), tennis, internet

I believe there are more amenities then what you have posted above as HOTWIRE has a new interface that does not show the complete set of amenities unless you click thru a few extra links.

If you repeat your search using our BiddingHelper.com tool... use the HOTWIRE EASY VIEW tab and then click the GREEN BUTTON next to this listing, do you see more amenities then what you have listed above? I did what you suggested and checked the bidding helper site and you are correct.  Those are the full amenities.  You were also correct about the New orleans Hilton Riverside. So we got two rooms for three nights (Dec. 10-13)  at 4* hotel for $91./ night.

 

Just an interesting aside.  I checked the Hilton site directly and it showed no availability for those dates. Does Hotwire own a block of rooms and if so, why would the Hilton let them go so cheaply a month out when they could still book rooms at the $147 rate currently on the site?
