Hotwire Hotel: 4.5* New York City (Times Square - Theater District) Algonquin

Very surprised to get the Algonquin, which was identified on the hotel list as a 4 star.  As Tripadvisor reviews note, the rooms are tiny.  hotel lobby has lots of character. Location is great.  Staff are exceptionally welcoming and friendly.  But this is not by any definition a 4.5 star.  On our previous visit, we got the Intercontinental as a 4.5 star and it had the amenities and the comfort one would expect for the rating.
