wonderwomen Posted November 8, 2014 Report Posted November 8, 2014 i need a strategy for an central hotel near the strip room for 4 person does anybody can commend a hotel and area ?
AaronJB Posted November 8, 2014 Report Posted November 8, 2014 What would be your desired budget per night for this stay and which zones would be acceptable? I would suggest instead looking on Hot.wire, as Price.line bidding only guarantees 1 bed/double occupancy and, especially at higher star levels in Vegas, there may be some difficulty in getting two beds (as a number of users have reported either not being able to get two beds or having to pay an additional upgrade charge.) Thank you for using the board's HOTWIRE or PRICELINE links to start your purchases and searches.
wonderwomen Posted November 8, 2014 Author Report Posted November 8, 2014 i have seen a lot of winning bids at tropicana with an low rate. 4 stars my question the area of priceline is las vegas south in the price line hotel list is the area vicinity city south. if i bid is this the same ara ? best deal have a star at the 4 star area.
thereuare Posted November 8, 2014 Report Posted November 8, 2014 I'm not sure i understand your reply, but i will add the following... Most Las Vegas hotels now charge additional for more than double occupancy and/or rooms with two beds, while all PRICELINE winning bids only guarantee double occupancy, after that it's at the discretion of the hotel, and you could receive a room with only one bed. While you can call the hotel you win and request a room with two beds, the hotel may not be able, or willing, to honor your request (could be difficult over these dates given it's New Years Eve, a busy nite in Las Vegas. As well, if the hotel is able to accommodate your request, i would at least be prepared for an additional fee). If this is not a risk you're willing to accept, HOTWIRE would still be an option as they allow you to search for up to quad occupancy and ensure sleeping accommodations for everyone you include in your search (although this usually means two beds, the second 'bed' could be a sofabed, rollaway, etc). PRICELINE EXPRESS would be an option as well if you're able to find a hotel that offers a 'Bed Choice' and one of those choices shows a room with two beds. Ultimately your options will come down to your budget... what is your maximum room rate per nite for this trip? Please use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases.
