rabbit13
I got the Waldorf Hilton for $133 (+ tax/fees = $166) for one night 1/7/06-1/8/06. It was the 4.5* "Best Value" with restaurant + fitness center + business center as the amenities. it's in the Mayfair-Soho area.I reall wanted this hotel but wasn't sure I would get it, as I previously saw someone who got the Waldorf for $107/night! I thought I might be able to narrow down which hotel i was going to get by looking at packages to London around the same time on Hotwire because the hotels are named there. There were packages to the Le Meridien Piccadilly, Radisson Edwardian May Fair & another Radisson Edwardian in Covent Garden (all listed as 4.5*s) - i thought for sure I was going to book one of these hotels but i didn't! I just checked to see if the same listing was still available (4.5* at $133) but the only 4.5* that pops up is for $177 ($205 with tax). it's got an extra amenity (a Spa) and a bad Tripadvisor rating (2 out of 5 stars). My best guess is this is the Radisson Edwardian May Fair (they have hotel/air packages available on Hotwire, they have a spa, and currently have a really poor Trip Advisor rating due to their renovations). Of course I could be wrong, but if this info helps someone in narrowing-down hotels in london, great! Link to comment
