Hotwire Hotel: Chicago this weekend

I saw a 5* listing for Chicago River North area for 11/8 to 11/9 (Sat-Sun this weekend).  It provides the following amenities:

Free Internet
Pet friendly
Smoke-free rooms
Fitness center
Restaurant(s)
Business center
Self-service laundry

 

It has a 60% recommended rating which concerns me for a 5*, but the price is really nice ($253 currently). Anybody know what this could be?

 

For $318 they have a 5* also in River North with a 100% recommendation and the following amenities.

Free Internet
Indoor pool(s)
Smoke-free rooms
Fitness center
Pool(s)
Restaurant(s)
Business center

 

I'd like to consider that an alternative if someone can venture a better guess which hotel that will be.

If you repeat your search using our BiddingHelper.com tool... use the HOTWIRE EASY VIEW tab and then click the GREEN BUTTON next to this listing, do you see more amenities then what you have listed above? If you don't see the same property(s) in the EASY VIEW you can use this alternate method:

... if this is what you're seeing, I'm not certain, but the Conrad Hilton (upgraded since it was last reported to the board) would be a guess for the first property:

... my best guess for this one would be The Trump (with a distant second guess of The Langham Chicago being less likely)

There has been some issue recently with the Conrad at 5* (see this thread) While unfortunately more expensive, the other 5* (likely Trump, less likely Langham) would be more accurately 5*. The Trump, Langham and Conrad are practically right next to one another, so none of them have a real location advantage over the other.

 

I'm very familiar with Chicago - please let me know if you have any questions in terms of hotel or Chicago in general.

Thanks.  I'll let you know what I'll end up with.  I've gotten the Langham as one of the 5* via hotwire (for $219!!) and was happy with that. My guess is that the trump at $318 is a better deal than Conrad for $254, but I've not stayed at either..
