With an endorsement like that i wish i could help more, but unfortunately i can't figure this one out. There's not even any unique amenities to help differentiate this from just about any property in Orlando (and the amenities seem more like those found in a downtown metropolitan area).

I even searched other posts where we couldn't identify the hotel to see if this hotel has come up before, but can't find any reference to it.

Could be the Crowne Plaza Hotel near UNiversal.

This is the hotel we got with a Hotwire price of $50 per night........4stars

The CP is a good guess, but in the past the CP has also had a laundry icon associated with it; so that this property is lacking that icon i am doubtful that it's the CP.

You can see a list of the known hotels along with the star rating and amenities associated with them here: Hotwire Hotel List (be sure to look thru the entire thread, not just the first post).

Of course, star ratings and amenities are subject to change at any time, but i'd try to find evidence of a change first before assuming that an amenity icon has been added/dropped or a star rating has been upgraded/downgraded.
