Priceline Hotel: ID 4.5* universal studios-int'l drive north

Hello! New to this forum  :)

Looking to NYOP from 11/6-11/10 2014. 4.5* hotel is available to choose from in universal studios-int'l drive north area. I want to stay in a universal resort. What do you think my chances are of staying at any of the loews or HRH? and the median range is noted to be $184. can I bid around $150 or is that too low? what are your thoughts? If I try for a 4*, will I get the loews pacific? I was reading that I may get stuck with the crowne plaza. Really want the express pass and close to Universal studios! Please help!!

You can't bid on a specific hotel when using PRICELINE, you have to be able to accept any hotel in the zone at the star level (or higher) that you choose. With HOTWIRE you can often take an educated guess as to what is being offered based upon the amenities associated with the property, but it's still a 'best guess' and no guarantees you will receive the hotel you're hoping for.

While the Loews Portofino Bay is currently there only 4.5* hotel reported to the board and in the Priceline Hotel List, as per the message at the top of that page, there could be others not yet known (and you could be the first to report a new hotel to the board). If you're going to bid on PRICELINE you need to be willing to accept any hotel in the zone at the star rating (or higher) in the zone you're bidding. You need to decide if the savings of a winning bid are worth the risk of landing a different hotel than the specific one (or location within the zone) you want.

Hello, still looking to ID this 4.5* hotel on priceline.

 

Amenities include:

Indoor or Outdoor Pool

Pets Allowed

Fitness Center

Business Center

Guest review score 8.0 or higher
