I was monitoring on Rate Drop, but there's no option to select 2 rooms. I've got 4 adults and need 2 rooms.

 

Any suggestions on the best course of action to take to get 2 rooms together at a discounted rate? I'm trying to give my parents a special trip w/ that rare touch of luxury, but a penny saved (or a few hundred of them) would be awesome too.

 

I have a vacation package offer that works out to $804 per room per night (incl hotel taxes, excl the $25/night/room resort fee) at the Venetian. Is that pretty decent for that time of year?

 

Last thing: I'm open to other hotel properties. Might be better to forgo that extra bit of luxury for $ to put toward shows. Any suggestions?

As per above, what was guessed to be the Venetian (at $154/nite) comes out to ~$75 per room cheaper per nite, so better to book 'ala carte' with the room thru HOTWIRE and then book the other aspects of the package deal separately (not sure if your package included car rental or airfare).

While most of the 4* hotels in Vegas are quite nice in their own right, the 5* hotels are typically 'over the top' and may be some of the nicest hotels you will ever stay in for the money... but ultimately it comes down to budget, cost of a 5* vs. a 4*, and just how 'special' of a trip you want this to be for your parents.

We're working on it. :) (as well as the ability to search for up to quad occupancy per room)... but needs some time to complete as well as to fully test before launch. In the meantime i would continue to set your alerts for 1 room as usually similar deals are offered for 1rooom vs. 2rooms, it's usually the more than double occupancy which more often than not substantially changes things (either the price or the hotel offered)
