Hotwire Hotel: 3.5* New York City (Madison Square Garden - Hell's Kitchen) Yotel Times Square

Hello there!! I plan on staying in Times Square this weekend from 10/11-10/13. I have tried name your own price for a 4.5 star hotel which seems to be the Intercontinental. I put in a bid at 260 and it was rejected and again at 270, also rejected. I honestly don't want to pay more than 300 a night. I saw it also listed in express deals for 333. Should I keep trying with the slightly higher bids? Or should I try another hotel with less stars? I am also open to the Marriott marquis as that is where the conference I am going to is being held. This site has helped me so much!! Thanks a lot.

The Intercontinental is the only hotel that has been reported to the board at the 4.5* level - there may be others. There is no way to guarantee a particular property when bidding - are you okay with any of the 4*'s in the TS zone?

 

I'm seeing a 4* for $230 in the TS area on HOTWIRE w/Restaurant, Fitness, Hi-Speed Internet, Business, Blind Accessible, Deaf Accessible, Travel Accessible, Room Accessible, Bathroom Accessible, Handicapped Parking, Roll-in Shower, Pet Friendly. This would be a possible match for the Millennium Broadway or the Crowne Plaza TS. Given the rates on HOTWIRE, I'm guessing you could likely get a 4* in the TS zone for around $190-215.
