horn34 Posted October 5, 2014 Report Posted October 5, 2014 I don't see it in the hotel list, but it's showing up on Priceline for $205 a night. Anyone stay here or bid on it? I'd like to book it, but $205 is too steep.
thereuare Posted October 5, 2014 Report Posted October 5, 2014 Welcome to BetterBidding! If you haven't yet, please start by reading your messages. All hotels reported to the board would be added to the Priceline Hotel List. However, even if this property had previously been reported to the board, there is no way to bid on a specific hotel when using PRICELINE, you have to be able to accept any hotel in the zone at the star level (or higher) that you choose. With HOTWIRE you can often take an educated guess as to what is being offered based upon the amenities associated with the property, but it's still a 'best guess' and no guarantees you will receive the hotel you're hoping for. As well, HOTWIRE only shows one hotel at each star level per zone, so there is a chance the hotel you're hoping for isn't the one which is offered for your particular dates. Is this the only hote you're willing to accept (or are you more flexible as to the hotel you stay in if you're able to get a discounted rate)? What are the dates of your stay? You can also sign up with your new RateDrop service using the "Named Hotels" tab and receive an alert should this hotel drop in price (to whatever amount you specify) for your dates. Please use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases. Let us know your thoughts on the above and how you'd like to proceed and we'll take it from there. Please use this HOTWIRE and these PRICELINE LINKS: HOTELS, CAR RENTALS, and AIRFARE to begin your travel purchases
