Seydlitz Posted December 9, 2005 Report Posted December 9, 2005 It was my first ever attempt with Priceline. Here is what I got:Check-In Date: Saturday, December 17, 2005 Check-Out Date: Thursday, December 22, 2005 Hotel Name: Marriott Jw In Bangkok4 Sukhumvit Soi 2 Bangkok, Thailand 66-2-6567700Your Offer Price: $80.00 Number of Rooms: 1 Number of Nights: 5 Subtotal: $400.00 Taxes and Service Fees: $82.48 Total Charges: $482.48Not bad I think :) . I like the Marriott, but in fact I was targeting gthe Sheraton Grande (I love the jazz club there). Now I wonder if I will be welcomed as well as a priceline guest as I would be if booking through undiscounted channels (and paying 400$ more). Also I want a king size bed. Wonder if they will be accomodating.

Seydlitz Posted December 10, 2005 Author Report Posted December 10, 2005 Yes, it was my first bid ever anywhere.
Chris26WI Posted December 10, 2005 Report Posted December 10, 2005 JW Marriott BKK treats Priceline customers just like other customers, don't worry. If you let your Marriott Rewards number (if any) add to the reservation, you can change your room preferences online.
