Priceline Hotel: 5* Las Vegas North Strip - Express Deal

Hello,

 

I was looking at booking the 5* Las Vegas North Strip Express deal for $171.

However when you go to book it, it says "All rooms will accommodate up to 2 adults."

 

We have 4 people that would like to stay in 1 room ... does this mean that we would probably get stuck with 1 king?

Is there anyway to get the room upgraded?

 

It has the following ammenities:

Indoor or Outdoor Pool
    Casino
    Restaurant

    Fitness Center
    Free Parking
    Business Center

 

So I guess that means the Trump tower would not be included? Which is a good thing.

If you are four people, Price.line bidding and PRICELINE EXPRESS guarantee 1 bed/double occupancy. The only variation is if a PRICELINE EXPRESS listing has bed choice. If that's the case, you can then look to see if one of the bed choice options is 2 beds. Otherwise, you have to call ahead to negotiate bedding and the hotel may say no or charge an upgrade fee. There is no way to guarantee or know for sure what the hotel will say - it will depend on the hotel, the day and possibly who you talk to. Would that be an acceptable risk?

Note that HOTWIRE does allow you to search for up to quad occupancy so that would still be an option if you're not willing to accept the occupancy risk of using PRICELINE.

Not sure how familiar you are with Vegas, but many hotels (especially at the higher end 5 star properties) now charge more for rooms with two beds vs. one bed, so if you are able to upgrade directly with the hotel i would expect there to be an additional fee (sometimes you get lucky and your room type preference can be had just for the asking, but i would expect to pay an additional fee)
