misslala Posted September 26, 2014 Report Posted September 26, 2014 Having trouble understanding how this works... (has nothing to do with sleep deprivation lol) I'm looking for a room in Downtown Seattle, WA for 9/27-9/28 for 4 adults, $250 max. More concerned with reviews than stars, but it seems like I need to shoot for 3* or more to make this a decent birthday weekend for my friend. Thanks in advance!
thereuare Posted September 26, 2014 Report Posted September 26, 2014 Welcome to BetterBidding! If you need quad occupancy then you'll need to stick with HOTWIRE and PRICELINE only guarantees double occupancy. If you use the HOTWIRE QUICK QUOTE box on the top left of this page (or our BiddingHelper.com) and search for your dates (and 4 adults) do you see anything within your desired budget, star rating, and zone? If so let us know the amenities that HOTWIRE associates with the offer and we'll have a look to see if we can guess what it may be. Please use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases. misslala Posted September 26, 2014 Author Report Posted September 26, 2014 Ok. I found a 4* room with these amenities in the convention center zone. $160/night pre tax, regularly $229 Pet friendlySmoke Free RoomsFitness CenterRestaurant(s)Business CenterInternet accessAccessible for the blindAccessible for the deafAccessible path of travel
thereuare Posted September 26, 2014 Report Posted September 26, 2014 I believe there are more amenities then what you have posted above as HOTWIRE has a new interface that does not show the complete set of amenities unless you click thru a few extra links. If you repeat your search using our BiddingHelper.com tool... use the HOTWIRE EASY VIEW tab and then click the GREEN BUTTON next to this listing, do you see more amenities then what you have listed above? Using this method, below is the full list of amenities i'm seeing for the 4 star hotel in this zone when searching for your dates: Pet Friendly Smoke Free Fitness Restaurant Business Hi-Speed Internet Blind Accessible Deaf Accessible Travel Accessible Room Accessible Bathroom Accessible Handicapped Parking Roll-in Shower ... if this is what you're seeing the Renaissance would be my best guess for this one (with a possible, but less likely chance of the Westin) Please use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases. Let us know how it goes or if we can be of further help. Please use this HOTWIRE and these PRICELINE LINKS: HOTELS, CAR RENTALS, and AIRFARE to begin your travel purchases
