Hello, I am trying to determine which hotels fit these ammenities. I am booking for Oct 10-12th, during the Marathon so everything is very pricey!

4 Star Chicago Loop - Theater District

FULL AMENITIES: Free Internet, Pet friendly, Boutique Hotel, Smoke Free Rooms, Fitness Center, Restaurant(s), Business Center, Internet access, Spa Services, Accessible for the blind, Accessible for the deaf, Accessible path of travel, In-room accessibility, Accessible bathroom, Handicapped parking, Roll-in shower

4 Star Mag Mile North - Water Tower

FULL AMENITIES: Pet friendly, Smoke Free Rooms, Fitness Center, Restaurant(s), Business Center, Internet access, Spa Services, Accessible for the blind, Accessible for the deaf, Accessible path of travel, In-room accessibility, Wheelchair accessible, Accessible bathroom, Roll-in shower

Any help is greatly appreciated!

Thank you,

Nicole

Unfortunately, this is a bad period with the Marathon and traditionally has been one of the busier/more expensive weekends of the year.

I'm not seeing the Loop property when searching for these dates this morning. I am seeing the Mag Mile N-WT property - unfortunately, that hotel has not yet been ID'd/reported to the board, but a guess is that it may be a new amenity set for the Westin Michigan Ave - but that would be just a guess.

I would usually say to split the stay (as the first night is noticeably less expensive) but the problem is that there's really nothing available for the second night.

I will be there the 10th-14th for non-marathon related events, unfortunately they fell at the same time! I got a great deal for Sunday and Monday nights through my Starwood points but it has been impossible to find anything that isnt astronomical for Friday and Saturday.

The Chicago Loop - Theater District was $261 and the Mag Mile North - Water Tower was $284. The Loop listing is no longer showing. I was hoping for something $250 or lower but $275-$300 if necessary.

What are your thoughts about the guessed Westin Michigan Avenue Chicago?

If not, what about a fully refundable rate of $324/nite at the Club Quarters Wacker at Michigan (confirm terms and dates of your stay on the landing page)... this will protect you from rates rising further from here as well as give you the opportunity to take advantage of anything better than may come up in the next two weeks.

I am considering the $284 Mag Mile hotel, I would be fine with the Westin. I would most likely do that over the Club Quarters. I will keep checking tonight and tomorrow morning in hopes the $261 rate comes back and I may try to submit a Price.line bid.

Thanks for the help, I will post what I end up with.

Are you in the Marathon? I often suggest the North 'burbs, which are quite nice and have Metra (nicer than CTA) train access to downtown. They would also be WAY cheaper ($70 for a 4* vs $270) in this case for comparable hotels.

I am seeing a Loop 4* this afternoon w/Boutique, Restaurant, Fitness, Smoke Free, Business, Spa, Blind Accessible, Deaf Accessible, Travel Accessible, Room Accessible, Bathroom Accessible, Wheelchair Accessible, Roll-in Shower, Pet Friendly for $270. This listing hasn't been ID'd/reported to the board, but I'd guess it may be a new amenity set for the Hard Rock. In any instance, a cheaper option and if you are in the Marathon, more convenient to the starting line.

However, if you are in the marathon and need to get downtown early, the North burbs are not optimal.

No I am not running in the marathon, I will be in town for concerts on Friday and Monday nights. I am taking the train in so I will not have a car and would prefer to in the downtown area. I am still keeping an eye on Hot.wire as well as Hotels.com and Orbitz.

Is your check-out date Oct 12 (Sunday) or Oct 13 (Monday)?

You can sign up with our new sister site/service RateDrop to receive an alert any time a hotel with your dates, star rating, zone, and budget appears... an easy way to get notified should anything below $250/nite (or $275 or $300) become available for your dates.

Any thoughts on this:

Mag Mile – River North
4 star
FULL AMENITIES: Free Internet, Boutique Hotel, Smoke Free Rooms, Fitness Center, Restaurant(s), Business Center, Internet access, Spa Services, Accessible for the blind, Accessible for the deaf, Accessible path of travel, In-room accessibility, Wheelchair accessible, Accessible bathroom, Roll-in shower for $295

Based on the ammenities it seems to match up with Hotel Felix, any other ideas?

I already have something booked for Sunday and Monday nights.

If your purchase for these two nites was thru PRICELINE or HOTWIRE please post your win to the board as a NEW TOPIC.

My guess for the 4* River North property above would be the Hotel Felix.
