glass1230 Posted December 6, 2005 Report Posted December 6, 2005 New to best Bidding and Priceline/Hotwire and was wondering as well if Loews (and Sagamore) represents the complete up to date resort South Beach list (I think I would be happy with any of them anyhow!) I'm pretty set on the location so any updates would be appreciated- it seems funny that there is only one resort in South Beach - LoewsThanks to all replying. Wish me luck

glass1230 Posted December 7, 2005 Author Report Posted December 7, 2005 Thanks for the offer! I'm looking at January 19th for 4 nights at a South Beach Resort. What strategies do you suggest with a maximum bid of $125?
thereuare Posted December 7, 2005 Report Posted December 7, 2005 I'm doubtful you will find success at the Resort level for $125 or less, but when trying, you have 8 re-bid zones at the Resort level. If you're not familiar with re-bidding please read Priceline Re-Bidding Explained and feel free to ask questions and/or confirm your re-bid zones with the board before proceeding.Select Resort South Beach...Bid $90, if rejected add re-bid zone...Bid $95, if rejected add re-bid zone...Bid $100, if rejected add re-bid zone...Bid $105, if rejected add re-bid zone...Bid $110, if rejected add re-bid zone...Bid $115, if rejected add re-bid zone...Bid $120, if rejected add re-bid zone...Bid $125.(i'm leaving off one re-bid zone in case you decide to increase you bid and want to try again before 72 hours)I'm also not confident about you even having success at the 4* level, but if you want to try that next, you have 4 re-bid zones available:Select 4* South Beach...Bid $75, if rejected add re-bid zone...Bid $95, if rejected add re-bid zone...Bid $105, if rejected add re-bid zone...Bid $115, if rejected add re-bid zone...Bid $125.Let us know if you have any questions regarding the above and how it goes. You may also want to try EasyClickTravel which often has some decent deals for this area, as does QUIKBOOK (easyclicktravel rates are refundable up until 72 hours before check-in date, while QB's "pay when you stay" rates are refundable and their "prepay" rates have a $10 cancellation fee) Please use this HOTWIRE and these PRICELINE LINKS: HOTELS, CAR RENTALS, and AIRFARE to begin your travel purchases
