Hotwire Hotel: 3* Lincoln Villager Courtyard and Gardens

Tried bidding 3* on Priceline up to $55 three times in the past few weeks hoping to get a good rate at a decent hotel in the downtown area. No luck, but was worth a shot.

Hotwire showed $48 per night for several days for a 3* for just Thursday 12/8. This morning it was down to $44 for 12/8. I added 12/9 and the rate went down to $42. So I took both nights. Figured this would turn out to be the Villager, and that's okay with me. There was a chance to get the downtown Holiday Inn, so I took the chance. The Villager isn't a standout hotel by any means, but it's okay for me for this trip - especially at $42 a night. It was cheaper than 1* and 2* hotels listed on Hotwire, and I know I'd rather stay at the Villager than a cardboard box out by the airport for more money.
