Priceline Hotel: Need help bidding Chicago North Michigan Ave or The Loop 3.5* next week

Hi everyone,

 

I'm relocating to Chicago and trying to find a not-too-expensive place for my first week there. I am looking mainly in the North Michigan Ave area, but could also look in The Loop if my bidding is unsuccessful in the previous area.

 

What would be a reasonable max rate to pay for a 3.5 star in these areas? I'm thinking $100 as a maximum, is this realistic?

I'm sorry I forgot to mention this.

 

I should be staying there from Monday 8th to Sunday 14th.

I could maybe go just from Monday to Friday if it drops the price!

Unfortunately i don't think you're budget is going to be realistic for these dates as there is a 100K attendee convention from 9/8-9/13 (100K is a HUGE convention for any city)

If you use our sister site MAPS and HOTELS.com what is the best rate you're able to find at an acceptable hotel for these dates?

For next week we are looking at BnB at this time, since all hotels are actually already booked.

We are looking in the same areas I mentioned and are seeing things in $100 range so far so we'll try this way.
