KoKoNash Posted August 22, 2014 Report Posted August 22, 2014 Alrighty.....super new to all of this so bear with me! Working on securing a 4+ star hotel in downtown Denver for 2 nights -- 9/19-9/21. I linked over to HotWire and see a few options. 4* Greater Downtown Denver area boutique hotel-- Pet Friendly, Boutique Hotel, Pools, Restaurants, Business Center, Smoke Free Rooms, Fitness Center, Internet Access ($167)4.5* Greater Downtown Denver area-- Indoor Pools, Fitness center, pools, Restaurants, business center, internet access, tennis nearby ($258)4.5* Greater Downtown Denver area boutique hotel -- boutique hotel ($277) Thoughts on which hotels those are? I am a little leery about trying Priceline until I have a feel for what I'm dealing with. Just trying to be savvy for once in the hotel game! Thanks for your help!! **should have added that it looks like Priceline is the best way to get the cheapest price?? Am I correct in thinking that? Hence - why I posted this in the Priceline thread. Please correct if needed!
AaronJB Posted August 22, 2014 Report Posted August 22, 2014 Welcome to Betterbidding. The 4.5* for $277 (you may see a slightly different price) may be the Crawford. For the 4.5* $258, If you repeat your search using our BiddingHelper.com.com tool... use the HOTWIRE EASY VIEW tab and then click the GREEN BUTTON next to this listing, do you see more amenities then what you have listed above? For the 4* If you repeat your search using our BiddingHelper.com.com tool... use the HOTWIRE EASY VIEW tab and then click the GREEN BUTTON next to this listing, do you see more amenities then what you have listed above? PRICELINE bidding is generally cheaper, but you have to be willing to accept ANY hotel at the star rating chosen in the zone/s chosen, whereas with HOTWIRE and PRICELINE EXPRESS one can make an educated guess as to which hotels are showing. Let us know your thoughts on the above and how you'd like to proceed. Thank you for using the board's HOTWIRE or PRICELINE links to start your purchases and searches.
