I just reserved the 4* Sofitel San Francisco Bay on priceline (via the SavingsBarn.com link, of course). I think this is a new hotel to add to the list in the San Mateo area.

Date of Stay: 12/03/05 - 12/04/05

I definitely maximized my free re-bid on this try and finally booked the room on my last shot:

I'm Defining the Zones as the following to make it easier:

A = San Mateo

B = Cathedral Hill

C = Civic Center

D = South San Francisco

Bid 1: Zone A, $43 -> rejected

Bid 2: Zone A + B, $45 -> rejected

Bid 3: Zone A + C, $48 -> rejected

Bid 4: Zone A + D, $51 -> rejected

Bid 5: Zone A + B + C, $53 -> rejected

Bid 6: Zone A + B + D, $56 -> rejected

Bid 8: Zone A + B + C + D, $66 -> ACCEPTED
