Priceline Hotel: 4* San Francisco (Financial District-Embarcadero) Hyatt Regency San Francisco

Started bidding from $85 to $150 for Aug 22-24 stay, but unsuccessful.

 

Checked directly Hyatt's and Hilton's website for the price. Noticed that the labor day weekend are cheaper.

 

Created a new series of bids from $100 to $145, but now for Aug 30,31,Sep1 days.

 

At $145, I received a counter bid from Priceline:  Add $29 more. So I knew I was getting closer.

 

Instead of dollar increment, I jumped to $150. And got Hyatt. Perfect coz its right next to the Embarcadero BART station.

Also used the "Close Browser" technique to re-do the same bids again.
