Can I get any better deal in Priceline (Name your own price, or different hotel/area) or Hotwire?Visiting Vegas for the first time, so looking for the best cost/benefit for that price, the closest to the strip center. However, the Monte Carlo has been seen with this particular amenity set previously, so that would be a best guess. Is the Monte Carlo a good hotel for this price or can I find anything better for that value? And if I try to Bid a value for a 4* South strip hotel, what hotel is most likely I get if i try anything around $75? How low should I try?
AaronJB Posted August 18, 2014 Report Posted August 18, 2014 You certainly have time - unless you need to get this done today, you could certainly try $65 for a 4* in the South Strip area and then working up by $3's at a time using re-bidding. Let us know if you have any questions before starting to bid. The only issue with bidding is that you have to be willing to stay in ANY hotel at the star rating chosen in the zone/s chosen. If PRICELINE EXPRESS is showing what appears to be a particular property, that does not mean that you will get the same hotel when bidding.
