jl4855 Posted August 13, 2014 Report Posted August 13, 2014 Trying to book 5 nights stay from Oct 27, 2014 to Nov 1, 2014 in the 'Forbidden City - Tiananmen Square - Wangfujing' zone. Saw this pop up as a PRICELINE EXPRESS deal for $72/night but for the life of me I can't see any hotel that fits this. Star Rating: 5 StarGuest Score: Rated 9.0 out of 10 (or higher) guest favoriteGuaranteed Amenities:RestaurantBusiness Center Any ideas on what this might be? As always, used BB's PRICELINE.com link as that has served me well in the past.
yellowdog Posted August 14, 2014 Report Posted August 14, 2014 I'm sorry to say that I don't think we can shine any greater light on this property. All (49) 5* would have a restaurant and only a few don't list a Business center so this is very difficult. But if you're happy with the zone is $72 a good price for a 5* with a score 9/10 so servie and standard wouldn't be an issue.Sorry I could not be of more assistance.Keep us updated on your progress and let us know what you ultimately decide or if we can be of further help. Please use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your purchases and searches.Yellowdog.
jl4855 Posted August 14, 2014 Author Report Posted August 14, 2014 Went with the Express Deal and it turned out to be Capital Hotel Beijing. $72 is a bit deceiving as this is the price for a smoking room, non-smoking room rate was $80.
thereuare Posted August 14, 2014 Report Posted August 14, 2014 Congratulations on your success! Hope you're pleased with the results and this well reviewed property works well for your plans. It appears that you opted for the 'Deluxe' room which may be a difference from class from the smoking room which was offered for your dates (that room class may have been 'standard', so the rate difference may not have just been due to smoking/non-smoking). Thank you for using the PRICELINE links on the board to begin your bidding and sharing your win, helping us update the Priceline Hotel List with this property. Enjoy your stay. Please use this HOTWIRE and these PRICELINE LINKS: HOTELS, CAR RENTALS, and AIRFARE to begin your travel purchases
