Priceline Hotel: Priceline for 2+2?

Hi, was about to try priceline and place bids....but it seems to be impossible  to choose 2 adults and 2 children?

 

We are staying one week in NYC between 24-31 dec and I will try to use a tip from you guys earlier: To choose a 4,5-5 star hotel the first days, much cheeper....like 24-27 dec and go for a cheaper hotel the rest of the days.

 

Any advice?

PRICELINE only guarantees double occupancy, after that it's at the discretion of the hotel, and you could receive a room with only one bed. While you can call the hotel you win and request a room with two beds, the hotel may not be able, or willing, to honor your request (this is especially true in NYC where hotels have a high percentage of rooms with only one bed, many have little/no room for a rollaway (some hotels don't even stock them), and rooms with two beds are often considered an upgraded and have an additional fee).

If this is not a risk you're willing to accept, HOTWIRE would still be an option as they allow you to search for up to quad occupancy and ensure sleeping accommodations for everyone you include in your search (although this usually means two beds, the second 'bed' could be a sofabed, rollaway, etc)

PRICELINE EXPRESS may be be an option as well if you can find an offer that lists 'Bed Choice' and one of the room options given shows two beds.

Let us know your thoughts and how you'd like to proceed and we will take it from there.

Thanks for the Tip! I found a 4 star hotel at Priceline.Express that I want to book :-) But first I want to find out what it is.....

 

Can it be Wyndham Garden?...It looks nice and 244 dollars/night for 2 double bed room for the whole week is ok for me....Here is the info from the Express site: The Amenties mentioned was only Restaurant and Business Center.
