I made earlier bids of 55 and 65 last week and 70 this past Monday with no success.

Then I noticed Hotwire was showing a 3.5* (Delta) yesterday for $63 and I pounced, making the $58 bid on Priceline. I suspect hotels were not releasing inventory for this weekend until the last few days.
