Mschnurr Posted December 1, 2005 Report Posted December 1, 2005 Thereuare,I did try separate date and used other re-bid zones up to and including $110.Will try again in three days and I am probably going to go higher if necessary.I still have the Yankee Trader thru EasyClickTravel at $147.BTW I did go thru Savings Barn this time.Mike
Mschnurr Posted December 5, 2005 Author Report Posted December 5, 2005 ThereuareI tried again tonight for 4* Downtown Ft Lauderdale (Renaissance). January 23/06 - 1 night.I have the prior night which I got for $80.Is started at $110 and using the Airport, Coral Springs and Pompano went up to $140 but was rejected.I'm willing to go to $150 but I think that I will wait and see at what level someone else has success for this date.ThanksMike
Mschnurr Posted December 9, 2005 Author Report Posted December 9, 2005 As you know, I've been bidding on the 4* Downtown Radisson for Jan 23/06 to match up with my Jan 22 Radisson that I got for $80.Bid up to $150 and used up most of the Re-bid zones.Am somewhat leary of the Hyatt because of the recent poor reviews but just tried $125 for 4* Beach and downtown and was accepted at the Hyatt. This was my first bid in the Beach zone at this star level. Thanks for all of your help.I did bid through the Savingsbarn site.Mike
thereuare Posted December 9, 2005 Report Posted December 9, 2005 Glad to see you got it settled... i know you were working hard on this one!I'm confused regarding the price you paid... was it $80 or $125? What was the amount of your bid previous to the accepted bid amount?Don't forget to cancel your back-up reservation. :)Have a great stay and thank you for using the SavingsBarn.com links to place your bids.
