I believe there are more amenities then what you have posted above as HOTWIRE has a new interface that does not show the complete set of amenities unless you click thru a few extra links.

If you repeat your search using our BiddingHelper.com tool... use the HOTWIRE EASY VIEW tab and then click the GREEN BUTTON next to these listings, do you see more amenities then what you have listed above? Using this method this is what i'm seeing for each:

...but on TripAdvisor, the Thompson is showing a TA rating (5 green dots) of 5 out of 5.

The Thompson has been seen with this amenity set previously, but as you note, there is a 5/5 tripadvisor rating currently. I'm guessing this is either an error with the tripadvisor rating (rare, but it has happened - the TA ratings showing with Hot.wire listings are not updated live, as well. This was previously the Sutton Place and although I don't think this is the issue, possibly reviews from the prior hotel were removed recently?)

 

Or, the second possibility is that this is something not yet reported to the board (new hotel or a lower rated hotel that's been upgraded.) If that is the case, I'm not sure what this may be, given that likely matches have different TA ratings.

 

Still, in any instance, this looks like a very good deal for a 4.5* in this zone.

I still see the 4.5* for $101/night.  It should be the Thompson since one of the amenities is "Pet Friendly" which the Ivy does not have.
