LJ226 Posted December 1, 2005 Author Report Posted December 1, 2005 Near the beach. Never even noticed that there was a difference!
thereuare Posted December 1, 2005 Report Posted December 1, 2005 Yes, Hotwire actually has 3 similar icons: Beachfront, Near Beach, and Oceanfront.Regarding the hotel above, the New Clinton has previously also had a Business icon associated with it, which is not shown above... so it's not an exact match. This hotel has mixed up their amenity icons from time to time, so there is a chance that they have removed the Business icon in order to increase opacity (in the VP product the Business icon is still shown).Given the lack of a restaurant i would lean towards it being the New Clinton, but unfortunately there are just so many small, independent, "boutique" properties in this area that it's difficult to say for certain if the above is indeed the New Clinton or not. :) If you do select it please be sure to let us know how it goes.If we can be of further help please let us know.PS- the Royal Palm has been offering some great deals thru Priceline lately, not sure if it would be avaialable for the above dates, but you may want to consider giving that a try as well. The Royal Palm does have high parking charges and a resort fee, but if you bid correctly (we'll suggest a strategy if you want to try) and the low rates are avaialble, it could be even cheaper than the above after you include their resort fee.
