Hello all,

Would the Name your own price be a good option when you need to book a hotel last minute?  I am looking to stay really cheap- since this will be a one night trip for business purposes.  There is a 2 star in the express deals for $59.00- I was hoping to do a NYOP and walk away after fees for under $50.  I put in some bids - the highest being $35 and they all were rejected.  After adding zones, etc.  So now I am just wanting to know if I should try again today, suggestions on price I should bid, etc. I am running out of time so I do not want to waste my opp. on bidding today like I did yesterday.

Thanks!

Welcome to BetterBidding!

Expecting a 40% discount from the PRICELINE EXPRESS offer is probably a bit aggressive... based upon only this information (you didn't mention the dates of your stay so i can't research further) i would think you're more likely looking at the $45-$55 range.

If you let us know the dates of your stay, the zone(s) that are acceptable, and your maximum bid we will suggest a strategy for you to follow.

Also, using our sister site MAPS and HOTELS.com what is the best rate you're able to find at an acceptable hotel in the area?
