kyleburriss Posted July 1, 2014 Report Posted July 1, 2014 Looking for help with naming my own price, problem I see is the trump is now a 5 star in same group as Wynn, Encore, Venetian & Palazzo. I'm fine with any of the other but don't want to land and the trump.Looking to grab 2-3 rooms for March 19-22.Any tips would be appreciated
AaronJB Posted July 1, 2014 Report Posted July 1, 2014 Welcome to Betterbidding. :)There is no way to avoid a particular property (in general) when bidding on Price.line. If you do not want the Trump, then I would suggest not bidding and searching Price.line Express or Hot.wire instead. Please keep us updated and let us know if you have questions about a particular listing. If you would like assistance trying to ID a listing, please provide all of the information associated with the listing (amenities, star rating, price per night, zone.) You can also see the hotels reported to the board by clicking "Need help?" in the upper corner of Betterbidding and then click "See hotel lists". Thank you for using the board's HOTWIRE or PRICELINE links to start your purchases and searches.
thereuare Posted July 1, 2014 Report Posted July 1, 2014 I'm fine with any of the other but don't want to land and the trump...In this situation you can use PRICELINE EXPRESS or HOTWIRE and choose a property that shows a Casino amenity... since the Trump doesn't have a casino, any property with this amenity you can be assured won't be the Trump. When will your plans be firm in regards to how many rooms you need and your budget per nite for this trip? Please use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases. kyleburriss Posted August 4, 2014 Author Report Posted August 4, 2014 Trying to book a Priceline deal while avoiding the Trump. Corporate Trip so looking for 3 rooms Following Express Deal - 5 Start North $170 per night35% of savings8.0 Guest Review on PricelineAmenities: Swimming Pool, Casino, Restaurant Onsite, Fitness Center, Free Parking, Business Center What hotel do you think it is? Is that a good deal for 3/17 - 3/21?
kyleburriss Posted August 4, 2014 Author Report Posted August 4, 2014 Trying to compare vs other Priceline Thread. 5 Start North - $178 per night50% savings ($356) 90% recommended Amenities: Free Parking, Suite, Casino, Fitness Center, Pools, Restaurant, Business Center, Internet Access, Golf Nearby Which Hotel - Trying to avoid the Trump
thereuare Posted August 4, 2014 Report Posted August 4, 2014 Please keep all posts for the same stay in the same thread. Once you purchase a hotel use the "ADD REPLY and REPORT WIN" button on the lower right corner of the page and the entire thread will automatically be moved to the correct section of the board (if necessary). For the PRICELINE EXPRESS property please click the listing and then provide the amenity names as they appear on the screen as it provides a bit more detail. This is what i'm seeing for the $170/nite Strip North property when searching for your dates: Outdoor Pool Free Parking Restaurant Business Center Casino Fitness Center ... my guess for this one would be the Wynn or Encore, with a lesser chance of the Venetian and Palazzo (in that order) For the HOTWIRE property I believe there are more amenities then what you have posted above as HOTWIRE has a new interface that does not show the complete set of amenities unless you click thru a few extra links. If you repeat your search using our BiddingHelper.com tool... use the HOTWIRE EASY VIEW tab and then click the GREEN BUTTON next to this listing, do you see more amenities then what you have listed above? This is what i'm seeing for the $178/nite Strip North property for your dates when using this method: Free Parking Suite Casino Fitness Pool Restaurant Business Hi-Speed Internet Golf Spa Deaf Accessible Travel Accessible Room Accessible Bathroom Accessible Handicapped Parking Roll-in Shower ... my guess here would be the Encore (and the Wynn would be a secondary guess as well). Please use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases. Good luck and let us know whatever you decide to do for this trip or if we can be of further help.
