Also, so that we can more easily replicate your search results, how many adults/children are you including in your search? Thanks for using the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board. Anginem Posted August 3, 2014 Author Report Posted August 3, 2014 Dates of stay is 8/7- 8/10 2 adults and 1 child
AaronJB Posted August 3, 2014 Report Posted August 3, 2014 I'm seeing a 4* in the Capital Hill-Nat Mall area for $122 w that amenity set (which would be a potential match for the Hyatt), but not seeing a 4* in that zone for $114 - did you mean a 3*? The PRICELINE EXPRESS 4* would likely also be the Hyatt, although the Liason may also be a possibility. Thank you for using the board's HOTWIRE or PRICELINE links to start your purchases and searches.
Anginem Posted August 3, 2014 Author Report Posted August 3, 2014 Thank you very much. When I entered everything again looks like that option is gone, it was a 4*. Would this be a good deal to jump on, or in your opinion should we bid on something. Any tips for that?
AaronJB Posted August 3, 2014 Report Posted August 3, 2014 In general, bidding is cheaper but you have to be willing to accept any hotel at the star rating chosen in the zone/s chosen. The two sides of Price.line are not the same, so while one hotel is showing on PRICELINE EXPRESS does not mean that that is the hotel you will win if bidding. The benefit of not bidding is paying a little more for the ability to make an educated guess as to which hotels are showing and a better chance at something you may like. If you would like to try to bid, let us know which zone/s (by name) would be acceptable and your desired max bid per night. Thank you for using the board's HOTWIRE or PRICELINE links to start your purchases and searches.
