I'm looking for a 4* North Michigan Ave - River North in Chicago from Aug 2-5th. The express deal for that area is $160/night. Any idea what this hotel may be? Also, what should be my start and maximum bids?

Ideally, maximum would be $140 but given that its lollapalooza, not sure how realistic that is.

I ended up bidding on the 4* River North area on PRICELINE and got the deal for CAD 152/night Aug 2-5 which is approx. USD 140.

 

I started at $140 and got an offer to accept at $170. Of course I rejected and added zones Franklin Park, Hyde Park, Skokie, Midway Airport North one by one and bid $143,$147,$150, $152 and it was finally accepted.

 

The hotel was The Godfrey as you identified and I bid through your PRICELINE link.
