Unfortunately at current rates i don't think your chances improve that much even if lowering your star rating to the 2.5* level (or the 2* level), nor would i recommend that, as once you get below 3* the quality in NYC can get very 'iffy'... you could get a diamond in the rough that works perfectly for your needs, OR you could receive something where every minute in the hotel you wished you spent a little more. If you do decide to venture for the lower star rating you can close the current browser and repeat the above at the lower star rating(s) that you decide to try.
